Tentacles / Fumbling – Fálmar

Fálmar / Tentacles – Fumbling
Permanent work for Reykjavik Forestry Association, 2013.
A colour hike at Vífilstaðarhlíð woods, Heiðmörk reservoir, Iceland.

At the beginning of a walk the walker picks up a branch from a tree trunk that has various types of branches attached to it. The branches have a coloured tip. Along the trail tree trunks sport dots of colour where branches have been cut off (leading the way through the forest). The walker, with a branch in hand as an extension of the body, can match the branch to the spot – colour to colour.
